Ed Chapman – Founder
Ed is the Founder of VizQuest and has built the organization to become a leading Sales and Business development organization. Under his leadership, VizQuest has produced over $2.1 Billion in revenues and pipeline, averaging over 100% annual growth for 15 years. Ed has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the high technology industry. While at VizQuest, he has led engagements for Oracle, SAP, SunGard, Cegedigm/Dendrite, FAST Search, CD-Adapco and more. Ed helped in the growth and acquisition of companies such as; Demantra, LAI, Mathsoft, Polyplan and others. He also acted as the VP of Sales for Boeing Ventures, leading the “spin-off” of a new technology company.
Prior to VizQuest, Ed was Vice President of Business Development and Managing Director of Client Development Operations for ZEFER, a leading Internet consulting company. Ed was responsible for growing revenues from $1 million to a run rate of $170 million within 24 months. At SYSTECH, a Web‐based supply chain solutions company, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing and led the turnaround of the sales channel, resulting in a growth rate of 360%, and was able to position the company for acquisition. Prior to SYSTECH, Ed was Sales Director for ANSYS, a design process optimization solutions company, where he led the development and execution of the new sales model, resulting in growth from $8 million to over $65 million in 30 months. As a result, ANSYS was able to initiate an IPO nine months ahead of schedule.
Ed has advised venture groups, such as Ben Franklin technology Partners and Enterprise Ireland, and is on the Board of Need to Lead, a non-profit. Ed has a mechanical engineering degree from Lehigh University and an MBA from Babson College.
Bruce Morgan – COO
Bruce runs global operations for VizQuest. Bruce is responsible for the business development operations and continual improvement of VizQuest’s proprietary Revenue Factory model. He brings LEAN and 6-Sigma expertise to VizQuest’s operations and is responsible for quality control and performance metrics on all programs. He is considered a thought leader in sales performance and uses best practices while scaling sales models and teams. Bruce has consulted to over 100 organizations, has been a guest speaker to Forbes, Selling Power, Red Herring and others.
Prior to VizQuest, Bruce served as a VP of Sales for Dassault Aviation, where he was responsible for $550M in revenues.
Prior to Dassault, Bruce held Senior Management roles such as COO, VP of Marketing and VP of Sales for several startup PLM and ERP software companies. During that time, he was instrumental in taking two companies public and led a M&A team that was involved in acquiring 4 companies in a 3 year time frame including: Powerhouse, Inc., LPI Company and Accsell, LLC.
Bruce is actively involved in the upstate NY technology startup organizations, venture associations and sits on the board of advisors for a number of fast growing businesses.
Bruce has advised various start-ups and is actively involved with SCORE. Bruce has a degree in management and operations from University of Toronto.
William Joyce – VP of Marketing
Bill is responsible for managing all marketing and research operations. He has 25+ years of business development experience throughout the world. His skills have been utilized to create startup businesses for large corporations both domestically and in Asia. His business and cultural insight has led to in-depth knowledge of Asia’s largest corporations with many personal contacts and friends.
The companies that have elected to participate in corporate strategic alliances with Bill include: Intel, GM, Ford, Hitachi, Toshiba, Nippon Denso, Toyota, Samsung, LG, Hyundai, Textron, Anheuser-Busch, Hewlett- Packard, United Airlines, Apple Computer, Digital Equipment and more.
Bill’s 23 year career in the technology industry has spanned many critical areas of entrepreneurial management including strategy development, marketing, engineering and sales operations. Prior to his independent consulting career, Bill held senior management positions while at Intel, Tyco and Digital Equipment including: Industry Manager, Senior Director, Global Market Development, Asia Pacific Alliance Director, Senior Alliance Director, Petro-Chem Industry Manager and Global Sales Manager. He specialized in the development and deployment of advanced, automatic control systems for computer integrated manufacturing through global partnerships and indigenous channels. Bill has successfully created and managed multiple U.S. Asian Alliances and OEM relationships.
He is also an investor and advisor to several technology startups with multiple global patents in the hand-held position and other related wireless information technologies firms. Bill has a degree in Marketing from University of London
